ALBUM RELEASE: City Limits Records Presents: San Francisco
Two of my fellow San Francisco music bloggers and personal friends have teamed up to form a new record label called City Limits, with the goal of putting together exclusive compilations featuring the best upcoming artists from various cities. Peter Arko (Ears of the Beholder) and Robert Khoury (See The Leaves) have been working hard at curating and funding the label’s debut release City Limits Presents: San Francisco which is scheduled to be released in June.
With help from a successful Kickstarter project, limited edition vinyl records are currently being pressed. A digital download will be available at the end of the month. The compilation includes tracks from promising Bay Area artists such as The Sandwitches, The Soft Moon, Young Prisms and many others. If you did not contribute to the Kickstarter fund and would still like to purchase a copy, you can pre-order the limited edition vinyl through bandcamp.
As announced by Ears of the Beholder, the first single from The Sandwitches was premiered today by Gorilla vs. Bear.
The first single from City Limits Presents: San Francisco just premiered on Gorilla vs. Bear this morning. It’s an eerie number called “Sirens & Bells” from The Sandwitches. Also, you can now visit our Bandcamp page to pre-order the the digital download (out May 31st) and the physical record (out June 21st). Robert (See the Leaves) and I are very excited about this release and hope you will enjoy it too!
